MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Manager for Maternal Child Health in Turlock, CA. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Maternal Child Health unit, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety standards
- Develop, implement, and evaluate unit policies, procedures, and evidence-based practice protocols
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain optimal unit performance
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital administration to drive patient outcomes
- Mentor, coach, and conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff and support professional development
- Monitor compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal regulatory standards
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in hospital-wide committees
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of California (or compact eligibility)
- BSN required; MSN or graduate degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in Maternal Child Health, OB, or Women's Services
- Prior nursing leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of perinatal care, neonatal nursing, and maternal health best practices
- BLS and NRP certifications required ( within 90 days); ACLS & PALS
- Fetal Heart monitoring ( within 90 days)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
